A dupe for the YSL Vinyl Couture Mascara
I’ve tried the blue Sephora V for Volume mascara a couple of times and I think it could be a great dupe for the YSL Vinyl Couture Mascara in the shade 05 I’m the trouble.
Sephora V for Volume
Formula
The formula is similar to a mousse. With two coats you get intense colour on your lashes and a nice volume. The blue shade makes your eyes pop!
Shades
There are other shades designed to complement every eye colour.
- Purple > brown or green eyes
- Blue > baby blues
- Turquoise > hazel eyes
- Marsala > any eye colour
If you want to go over the top, you can take Sephora’s suggestion of “mix and match shades by applying one colour to top lash and another to the bottom”.
Duration
On me, it lasts well. I’d say for about 5 hours, nap included!
Overall, I think it’s a decent mascara if you’re going to use it on special occasions. It doesn’t really speak to my heart, however, it’s a nice dupe for the much more expensive YSL Vinyl Couture Mascara.
A cool combination for summer is blue eyes and bright coral lips, isn’t it? Here I used Mac Matte Lipstick in Mangrove A46.
