2017 Christmas Edition of the Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick
You know when you really want to like a product and you try your best to make it work but it doesn’t? For me, the 2017 Christmas Edition of the Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick is that.
Packaging
I instantly loved the packaging, covered in gingerbread men (the shade is called “gingerbread” indeed), and the shade, a stunning intense brick red, which suits all the skin tones.
Duration
The real issue has been its behaviour throughout the day: with or without a lip liner underneath, in three hours time you look like someone who has been making out for hours.
It goes all around your lips, it’s horrible.
I even tried to use a lip liner and tap this Too Faced Liquid Lipstick only at the very centre of my lips, nothing changed.
Formula
It’s a pity because the formula itself is okay, it’s not drying or uncomfortable but
it’s not a good lipstick if you have to constantly worry every time you put it on.
The smell is sick-sweet, but it goes away as soon as it dries out, don’t worry.

Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it, despite the colour and packaging being so cute! Instead, I really enjoy using the Too Faced Sketch eyeliner, have you tried it?
