The Ordinary foundations
I’ve got both of The Ordinary by Deciem foundations: the Serum foundation and the Coverage foundation.
Deciem is a popular Canadian company that sells active ingredients without fancy packagings or astonishing price tags.
I’ve bought the Salicylic Acid 2%, the Hyaluronic Acid 2%+B5 and the two foundations mentioned above.
The Ordinary Serum foundation
Texture and coverage
The Serum foundation is very lightweight and watery. I would say that, in terms of coverage, it is like a tinted moisturizer, because it doesn’t cover your blemishes. A great option for daytime.
In my everyday routine, I tend to put aside any foundations and only use the Nars Soft Matte Concealer and a bit of bronzer, just because I spend most of my time in the library studying, so I don’t really care about how I look (I already know: STRESSED!).
Price
The Ordinary Serum foundation costs 6,70€, even cheaper than most drugstore foundations.
The Ordinary Coverage foundation
Texture and coverage
When I go out with my friends I want my base to be flawless, so I grab the Ordinary Coverage foundation instead.
I really think this is an amazing product: the coverage is insane! It reminds me of the Vichy Dermablend Foundation but less cakey. I suggest you to applying it with a beauty blender to get a more natural result.
The finish is semi-matte.

This foundation costs 6,90€.
I won’t buy any other foundation until I’ve run out of these two, they are all I need in my makeup collection!
