As a fan of all things beauty, receiving a surprise PR package from a beloved brand is like a dream come true. Imagine my delight when I unwrapped a package from Sally Hansen, revealing two of their latest launches: the Salon Chrome kit and the Miracle Gel.
Having followed Sally Hansen’s journey for years, these new additions had me bubbling with excitement to put them to the test.
Sally Hansen Salon Chrome
Priced at 17€, this kit promises a world of chrome perfection. Upon opening the kit, I found three key components:
- a chrome powder
- a sponge applicator
- and a special effects topcoat designed to preserve the chrome’s brilliance.
The shade I received was Gunmetal, a dark and edgy grey that might not be the easiest to pull off, but it undoubtedly adds an element of intrigue to any look.
After applying a base coat, I delicately buffed the chrome powder onto my nails using the sponge applicator. The result was mesmerizing!
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel
In contrast to the boldness of the Salon Chrome, the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel collection embraces a more understated elegance. For my trial, I chose the shade Birthday Suit, a delicate and charming light pink.
Then I applied the Miracle Gel topcoat, promising a salon-worthy finish without the hassle of UV lights or complex procedures.
Upon applying the Miracle Gel nail polish and topcoat, I couldn’t help but admire the sheer glossiness. It truly gave the impression of a semi-permanent manicure!
How long does Sally Hansen Gel nail polish last?
Yes! With other brands, I would often notice chipped nails within a few days, but Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel proved to be a game-changer.
The impeccable formula held up remarkably well, maintaining its vibrant color for an impressive span of 8 days. It’s safe to say that Sally Hansen has set a new standard for lasting power!
