RSVP Clutch Bag
I bought my first designer bag, a beautiful clutch from RSVP Paris!
What do the numbers on the bag stand for?
All of their items are handmade and numbered from 1 to 500: once a series is sold out, it’s gone forever.
Leather
I choose the clutch in black smooth calfskin. The leather is so smooth you have to pay extra attention to avoid scratches. I know, you might point out that black is boring but the description on their website will make you change your mind:

What does the RSVP Paris clutch bag fit inside?
The bag does fit quite a lot: one external battery, tissues, a cardholder, a small purse, a set of keys and my iPhone 6s Plus.
Honestly, that’s all I need when I go out!
Céline Trio \ Mulberry Clifton vs RSVP Paris
The strap is adjustable and can be removed but, for now, I’ve been using it only as a crossbody bag. The strap looks like the one from the Céline Trio’s.
I was actually about to purchase the Céline Trio bag and before the Mulberry Clifton (a long time love of mine) but:
- after reading a couple of reviews and watching YouTube videos, I learned that most of the Céline Trio’s don’t last well in time, especially around the corners.
- Céline doesn’t sell online and I couldn’t be bothered to go to Milan.
- the Mulberry Clifton is more durable but in the black version the two front buttons are not gold (a thumb down for me) and they have a strap chain (another thumb down), however, I loved the idea of two gold buttons.
- the Céline Trio Small costs 750€, the Mulberry Clifton 850€ and this RSVP Paris beauty 495€.
