NYX Epic Ink collection
Last week I started testing the NYX Epic Ink Collection and let me tell you, I was so curious! I love the NYX Glitter Primer but I also used to hate the popular Soft Matte Lip Creams everyone else sworn by.
What about the Epic Ink collection?
Epic Ink Lip Dye liquid lipsticks
I’ve got three shades:
- Heartbreaker 03, a deep hot pink
- Charmer 04, a deep strawberry red
- Night Runner 07, a blackened plum
All of them have been tested for a day each, where I drank a lot of water (yes, I became a granny who walks with a bottle of water in her hands and moans about the weather every 4 minutes) and ate peaches and apricots.
The first thing I noticed when I was applying Charmer was the consistency: so light it could have been water! I managed to define my lips without any problem and the result was homogeneous.
They felt and behaved all the same, but I must admit that Night Runner was so dark that I needed a lip brush to apply it.
They lasted up to 4 hours on me. Then, I removed these liquid lipsticks with an oily makeup remover.
Epic Ink eyeliner
In summer I can’t be bothered to put on my face tons of makeup, but when I do, I always reach for a good eyeliner. The Epic Ink Liner is black and waterproof, does it remind you of anything? I thought about the Kat Von D Tatoo Liner for half of the price.
The brush is thin and slender and it lets you create different lines if you change the pressure. On a negative note, it is not 100% waterproof, so maybe do not wear it if you’re going to see Hachiko or PS I Love You.
I’d recommend not to shake the product before using it because otherwise, it gets everywhere.
Have you tried this range? Do you like NYX?
