Today I’m talking about my top 5 style icons!
Olivia Palermo
I’m obsessed with her. She’s so classy, has a handsome husband and a cute fluffy Maltese dog called Mr. Butler.
If I could be someone else, I would be her for sure!
What I like about her style and I take inspiration from:
- She often wears flats\ballerinas instead of sneakers and this makes an outfit look more put together.
- Her husband, model Johannes Huebl, every Sunday posts a photo of them together and most of the times she has sunglasses on and loungewear. That’s a nice trick for when you have a bare face.
- Olivia masters the art of mixing designer clothes with cheap pieces. You don’t need to spend 80€ on a white cotton t-shirt!
Lizzy Hadfield | Shot From The Street
I discovered her one year ago on Pinterest (I was looking for pictures of the Céline Belt Bag) and I remember watching all the videos on her YouTube channel because she is so sweet and her style is so relatable: denim jeans, plain t-shirts, and turtlenecks. Yeah, me basically.
What I like about her style and I take inspiration from:
- She tucks in all the t-shirts.
- Turtlenecks will save you from wearing a big chunky scarf that ruins your outfit.
- She usually invests in good quality shoes and bags.
Paola Alberdi | Blank Itinerary
I found her while I was looking for pictures of another bag I like, the Prada Astrology Cahier. She’s nine months pregnant so she wears maternity clothes btw.
What I like about her style and I take inspiration from:
- If in doubt, wear Ray-Ban! Most of the times she has the Ray-Ban 3447 on.
- Go for statement bags: colourful with patterns.
Lucy Williams | Fashion Me Now
The queen, I love her effortless-chic-editorial style.
What I like about her style and I take inspiration from:
- She always wears gold jewellery and layered necklaces. Lucy has done a collaboration with Missoma and my favourite piece is the Mini Fang Necklace, that I finally bought and I’m waiting for it to arrive.
- She tucks in all the t-shirts.
- White, black and denim are a staple in her wardrobe.
Felicia Akerstrom Ma
As you can imagine from her surname, she’s from Sweden but lives in New York. She’s tall, skinny, has long Pocahontas hair and quite a lot of money. Oh and she is 24 years old, so we almost have the same age. “Don’t compare yourself with others!” they say uh.
What I like about her style and I take inspiration from:
- In summer she wears a lot of frilly dresses and knotted shirts;
- White or cream tops are always a good idea.
