You can tell if a liquid lipstick is a “miss or hit” immediately: most of the times, they either dry your lips and crack or they feel and stay amazing.
What about this new range from Max Factor?
Max Factor Lipfinity Velvet Matte review
Shades
The Max Factor Lipfinity Velvet Matte lipsticks are available in seven shades. I have got four of them:
- Red Luxury > a classic red
- Cool Coral > a pastel coral
- Coco Crème > a mauve pink
- Matte Merlot > a burgundy
From soft corals to bold reds, it’s a stunning range of liquid lipsticks in the prettiest of the shades. The transparent packaging let you see all the colours. Quick to recognize in your makeup collection!
Formula and application
The formula is lightweight, smear-resistant and long-lasting.
These liquid lipsticks apply smoothly and feel extremely comfortable. In fact, they do not dry your lips and feel like velvet, exactly as their name suggests.
A little tip for you: in order to get a homogeneous colour, use a gentle lip scrub regularly in order to get smooth and soft lips. A great one is the Frank Body Lip Scrub, otherwise, do it yourself with honey and cane sugar.
Duration
Staying power is good. I would say they last about 4 hours before fading from the centre. If you are careful, you won’t need to retouch your lipstick after the second coffee of the day.
Unlike many other liquid lipsticks, the Max Factor Lipfinity Velvet Matte lipsticks do not tend to dry out your lips.
How much are Max Factor Lipfinity Velvet Matte lipsticks?
They cost around 10€. Totally worth it!
