L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil in Cream Review

Two months ago I received a sample of the “new” l’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil in Cream and I was super happy because the Extraordinary Oil has been one of my favourite drugstore hair products for years. I did a quick research and *surprise* it was actually launched 2 years ago but apparently not in Italy. As for Origins, better late than never.

It’s a thick cream you need to apply after the shower on your wet hair and leave it there doing its job. To me it does a really good job: it’s not sticky, leaves my hair soft my hands not oily\dirty.

I still wash my hair with shampoo AND conditioner, I’m not using this product as a “leave-in conditioner” but as a “cream hair oil” as it’s supposed to be. 🙂

It costs around 10€\100ml and it’s a good option if you can’t afford expensive hyped oils such as Gisou or Ouai.

Here in Italy we don’t have so many drugstore brands for hair care, but L’Oréal is among those, so I usually end up buying some hair products from L’Oréal or Garnier if I don’t have much money to spend. 🙂 x

I think I’m going to have to try this out. With all of the heat I put on my hair, it could do with all of the moisture and shine that it can get!

I personally try to be constant and use an oil or cream after washing my hair, every single time. 😀 x
