My internship has come to an end and I’m quite happy. I was meant to stay in Brussels until the beginning of July but I’ve decided to end it 2 months earlier for three main reasons:
- The internship was good but not great. I could have done half of the things at 10 years old and after a month I started feeling as if I had already learned what there was to learn.
- I have four exams to take between June and October while writing the thesis and keeping up with my blog. So, what was the point of losing my time over endless Excel files when I could be at home focused on Uni?.
- I really like Brussels city centre but not the general architecture, nor the crappy weather or the fact that on Sundays there are no shops open.
Despite these negatives points, I was really happy when I found out there was an Urban Outfitters store (although it’s not that big) and I enjoyed very much my smoothies at Café du Sablon or a little Saturday browse in Dille&Kamille.
Now I’m really excited to have my life back, I’ve missed my dog SO much, almost as much as my friends. Little things that make home, home.
The first thing I did when I arrived was going to the hairdresser: I cut 10 cm and asked for a fringe! A fresh new start. 😀
