If you love but don’t not how to clean your Wet Brush, you are in the right place. I am going to show you two easy methods!
Why is the Wet Brush so good
I’ve tried lots of regular brushes and also the popular Tangle Teezer, but no one is as good as the Wet Brush. I guess it’s because the bristles can bend and wiggle through tangles, without hurting your head.
No more pain, no more tangles.
I own the Original Detangler Wet Brush and the Paddle Hair Brush.
- The Original Wet Brush is for regular day-to-day use.
- The Paddle Brush has a 20% larger area instead, amazing to spread conditioning treatments and hair masks evenly.
Although I remove the hair with my hands every time I use them, they easily get dirty and gross!
It’s important to clean your hairbrush (whatever brands it is) because there are residues of hair products build-up and oils on it. The more you keep using a dirty hairbrush, the more you brush those residues into your fresh hair.
This tool helps you clean your Wet Brush
First method
I was struggling to deeply clean my Wet Brush until I discovered the Wet Brush Cleaner, a small tool you can pass through the bristles to remove hair and dust. It’s very quick and effective!
The Wet Brush Cleaner costs around 6$ and you can find it here on Amazon!
Second method
If you can’t get hold of that, you can use a home remedy of mine:
- take a toothpick
- use it to pull all the hair to the top
- and then take it off from your hairbrush. Eventually, you can put a bit of liquid soap on the brush and rinse with water.
I usually brush my hair when they are wet, right after the shower, and then I put on my Aquis Lisse Luxe Hair Turban. Et voilà!
