Vegan, cruelty-free, and high quality: all of Espressoh’s products can be described in these terms. Last year, I purchased their concealer (which is now about to run out, 16 months later) and I was like “you know what, that’s a really really nice product”, so I decided to also try Hey Broh and Glassy.
Hey Broh – eyebrows gel
Hey Broh is a clear eyebrows gel with a water-based gel formula. This is why, after the application, my eyebrows remain slightly wet for a couple of minutes before drying.
The best part? They don’t feel sticky or uncomfortable right after! However, if you touch them during the day, you can definitely tell that there is some product on them and that they’re not going to move all day.
As I said, Hey Broh gel is clear so it’s perfect for both blondies and brunettes.
All day! I apply it at 7 am, and even after 12 hours when I remove my makeup, it’s still intact. In my opinion, Hey Brow is the most remarkable product from Espressoh! Their second best is the ABC Concealer.
The price of Hey Broh is 22€.
Glassy – blush
Do you remember when Lily Pebbles used to rave about the Molecule parfum? That’s what came to mind when I first encountered Glassy, a transparent blush that reacts with the pH of your skin and gives colour to your cheeks.
The result should vary from skin tone to skin tone. Personally, I noticed that the colour always comes out as a strong pink no matter what! Of course, the intensity depends on the quantity: take out as little product as you can.
My cheeks feel always sticky for about five minutes after the application, which I’m not a fan of because you can tell you’ve got makeup on, which is not what Espressoh is about.
The pink cheeks effect lasts for a couple of hours, a lot less that traditional powder blushes! While I appreciate the concept behind Glassy, I’m not entirely satisfied with its “performance”.
Glassy is not cheap. The price is 23€ for just 3,5ml. It’s true that you need the tiniest amount of product, but it’s still a really small amount for this price point!
