CDB is become more and more integrated in skincare products because of its anti-inflammatory properties. Taba Skincare has been in the forefront of creating CDB-base products, such as their so-called Moisture Face Cream.
First impression: “I hate it”
I’m a huge fan of both the Taba Fresh Eyes Patches and Serum, so when my best friend told me “I bought this cream and used it twice but its smell has making me nauseous each time, can I gift it to you?” I was astonished and very curious to try it out.
Given what she said to me, I immediately noticed the smell: it was strong and not nice. After applying the cream all over my face, I couldn’t breathe without feeling the urge to wash my face.
warning: the above text is just a funny joke
After 20 minutes, the smell became less intense.
The day after I woke up with baby soft skin, so I texted my friend “Babe I’ll try it a few more times because it’s got potential” and also I didn’t wanna waste 51€ like that.
Texture
The texture and colour remind me of whipped cream. In one adjective, I’d say the Taba Moisture Face Cream is silky.
Even if Taba describes it as as “day and night cream”, I’d recommend it only as a night cream because of its heavy texture and the absence of SPF (a common flaw with this amazing light weight cream).
Pros
The main pro is the result, probably due to CBD properties. These are the main benefits of CBD based face products:
- Anti-inflammatory → reduce redness and skin irritation.
- Antioxidant → help prevent free radical damage to the skin and combat signs of premature aging.
- Hydrating → help retain moisture on the skin, keeping it hydrated and soft.
- Regenerating → stimulate skin cell regeneration.
Cons
The strong and quite long-lasting smell but also the price (51€/50ml), which is high compared to the quantity.
Overall, I’m still using this product and still not getting really along with it, however I got used to the smell and now I find it less sickening!
The Moisture Cream has not stolen my heart but this won’t stop me from trying out new products from Taba.
