In the spring of 2014, Atelier VM unveiled a true masterpiece, the L’Essenziale bracelet, a gold chain seamlessly welded onto the wrist. At that time, it was the first bracelet in the history of jewelry-making, welded directly onto the body.
More than just a piece of jewelry, L’Essenziale represents an idea of connecting memories to the body, celebrating unions, relationships, and moments that matter most.
In 2020, the concept expanded to include necklaces, and in 2021, anklets joined the collection.
My experience
Almost one year ago, I celebrated my 29th birthday by getting welded L’Essenziale to my wrist together with my best friend.
Creating your L’Essenziale piece is simple:
- Choose: explore the L’Essenziale collection and pick your favorite – bracelet, necklace, or anklet. I went for the thinnest 18kt gold bracelet (0.65mm), which cost 220€.
- Personalize it: add a small charm if you wish, making it truly one-of-a-kind. Personally, I love the look of it without any charms.
- Visit a store: go to Atelier VM and get your bracelet welded, no appointment is needed. I went to the store in Via Torino – Milan, and the staff was super professional and kind.
